The ABSS3708 Heavy-Duty 110 mm Anti-Lock Rear Drum Brake Lock is the high-resistance model in the ABSS series for public e-bikes, shared fleets and OEM mobility platforms with a 110 mm rear brake-lock requirement. It integrates expansion-brake performance and vehicle-controlled rear-wheel locking at the rear hub left side or rear motor left side.
ABSS3708 combines a larger 110 mm brake direction with confirmed >=300 N.m lock-structure torque resistance. This higher-resistance model direction supports demanding rear-wheel integration projects that require a defined structural validation reference. Three evenly distributed magnets per ring provide the model's Hall speed-sensing layout for project-defined electronic protection.
A separate 30 RPM mechanical safety locking condition supports locking safety when wheel movement remains outside the intended engagement state. The model also provides 5V-60V DC, project-selected UART/RS485/CAN/I2C interfaces, OTA online upgrade, an IPX7 lock core and RoHS / REACH. Public assembly, braking, torque-resistance, IPX7, salt-spray and final-inspection media are confirmed for OEM review.

The 110 mm expansion-brake mechanism generates rear-wheel braking by applying brake shoes against the internal braking surface through the vehicle's matched actuation. Its expansion-brake performance is evaluated in accordance with ISO 4210-2015.
For electronic locking, the selected controller sends lock and unlock commands through the project interface. Three-magnet Hall sensing supplies wheel-movement input for the configured protection speed. The 30 RPM mechanical safety locking condition adds a separate physical layer to help suppress unintended engagement outside the intended range. The locking protection and mechanical braking functions work as coordinated but distinct parts of the rear-wheel assembly. OTA support is implemented within the approved vehicle project.

ABSS3708 is designed for public e-bikes, shared e-bike fleets and higher-demand OEM mobility projects requiring a 110 mm rear brake-lock direction and >=300 N.m lock-structure resistance. Vehicle load, wheel diameter, long-descending conditions and other demanding operating profiles must be provided for project evaluation rather than assumed from the heavy-duty name.
Before sampling, provide the rear hub or rear motor drawing, 110 mm brake requirement, axle-hole direction, wheel diameter, vehicle weight/load, operating profile, voltage, selected interface, controller/IoT architecture, 3-magnet layout and lock workflow. Confirm brake actuation, installation clearance, connector, cable routing, accessory BOM and complete-vehicle braking and locking validation in the approved project documents.
Q: Why is ABSS3708 described as heavy-duty? A: It combines the 110 mm brake direction with >=300 N.m lock-structure resistance, distinguishing it from the two 95 mm, >=160 N.m models.
Q: Is >=300 N.m the braking torque? A: No. It is resistance of the locking structure. Braking performance is a separate expansion-brake field under the confirmed ISO 4210-2015 boundary.
Q: Does heavy-duty mean a confirmed vehicle load capacity? A: No. Vehicle weight, load, wheel diameter and operating conditions must be evaluated for each project.
Q: Which sensing layout does ABSS3708 use? A: It uses three evenly distributed magnets per ring. The 4-magnet layout belongs to ABSS3725.
Q: Can ABSS3708 mount beside a rear hub or rear motor? A: Yes. Both rear hub left-side and rear motor left-side directions are supported, subject to the approved structural drawing.
Q: How does the locking-safety logic work? A: Project-defined electronic protection uses wheel-speed input, while a separate 30 RPM mechanical safety condition helps suppress unintended engagement. It is not braking ABS.
Q: Which environmental and compliance fields are confirmed? A: IPX7 applies to the lock core; operating/storage, humidity and 72-hour neutral salt-spray fields are defined; RoHS / REACH are confirmed.
Q: Which ABSS3708 videos can be published? A: The installation video and public assembly, braking, torque, IPX7, salt-spray and final-inspection media can be used. The English structure animation requires caption correction first.
